Blake Tyburczy is a 2028 SS/RHP/UT with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from West Milford, NJ who attends West Milford. Lean athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, sets up in a slightly open stance with a relaxed hand load, shifts his weight well into contact with a simple stride and timer, well controlled swing with solid gap to gap contact, projectable hitting tools as he continues to get stronger. 3.77 runner in the thirty. Primary shortstop on defense, is quick and light on his feet and gets to his spots well, nice arm strength on top and throws very well from whippy lower slots on the move as well, has the tools and actions to stay in the middle infield. Also pitched, throws from a low 3/4's arm slot from a short hybrid delivery, can get early with his front side at times and pull off. Fastball topped out at 84 mph with good ride up, velocity plays up. Curveball was a quality pitch with hard spin and bite and 11/5 shape. Also flashed a change up. Has a chance as a two-way prospect. Good student. Named to the PG New York Showcase Top Prospect List.
