Lincoln Moran is a 2030 C/1B/OF with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Needham, MA who attends Xaverian Brothers. Larger, more physical frame presently. Recorded a 9.01 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary catcher that received from a side-saddled stance with developing footwork and receiving skills. Gets slightly uphill into release and produced arm strength up to 58 mph during drills. Secondary first baseman with a developing defensive skill set. Incorporates deliberate footwork, limited agility around the bag and produced throws up to 58 mph. Took part in the outfield portion of the defensive workout as well, where he showed similar deliberate footwork throughout the fielding process. Fielded out in-front, used an elongated gather and transfer process into release and delivered fairly accurate throws up to 64 mph. Right-handed pitcher that worked from a full windup delivery with a belt high leg lift and shorter stride out to front foot strike. Fastball worked in the low-60s for the duration of his outing with developing command. Will need to add viable secondary offering and improve mechanically to enhance overall skill set on the mound. Right-handed hitter that hits from an even based stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and a negative toe-tap trigger. Developing bat-to-ball skills with slightly downhill swing path. Will improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Excellent Student.
