Gladden is a right handed pitcher that utilizes a slight rock back to gain momentum before coming through hard off the mound. Her four pitch arsenal includes fastball, change up, screw, and drop curve. Her screwball was her go to pitch and showed nice movement. Gladden shows a ton of potential, needing to work on her flip change and not showing it too early and reducing the speed.
Defensively, Gladden is a right-handed outfielder that demonstrated great mechanics and did everything she could to keep the ball in front. She read the ball well off the bat and made good strong throws to bases.
Offensively, Ava is a right-handed hitter who showed good lower half movement and fire. She works inside out, making good contact, and drives the ball opposite field with authority. She is athletic and has a solid offensive foundation to build upon. If she continues to develop from where she is now, she will definitely be ready for the next level.
