Cooper Hochendoner is a 2026 LHP/OF with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Pittsburgh, PA who attends South Park. Recorded a 6.83 second sixty yard dash time. Long frame with a lanky build. Primary left-handed pitcher works from a full windup from the first base side of the rubber. Handset at the chest with a leg lift to the same height. Good posture over the rubber and breaks hands at the chest into a medium in-line arm path before accelerating through a high three- quarter arm angle. Gets down the slope well. Fastball (1943 RPM) was up to 84 with some life at the plate and jumps on hitters. Mixed in a curveball (1630 RPM) in the low-70s, a slider (2035 RPM) in the mid-70s, and a change-up (1642 RPM) in the upper-60s. Secondary outfielder with choppier steps. Long crow-hop into throws with some strength to the arm and some accuracy to the plate. Left-handed hitter starts from a medium base with a slightly closed stance and a low back elbow with a low hand set, utilizes a toe tap trigger. Good rhythm in the swing with whip to the hands and knows the barrel. Stays short to it. Exciting player with a high ceiling. Great student. Named to the 2025 Great Lakes Showcase Top Prospect list.
