Beckett Miiller is a 2029 C/RHP/UT with a 5-4 130 lb. frame from Kalona, IA who attends Iowa Mennonite. Smaller young build. Right handed hitter, sets up in an upright and slightly open stance, tends to stay on his back side in his swing, high leg raise timer, some lower half rotation, bat speed will continue to improve with additional strength. 8.69 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up in a straight stance, has a quick and clean exchange and a compact arm and release, developing arm strength. Also worked out in the infield with slower step by step actions, made accurate soft throws. Took a turn on the mound, works from a well balanced side step/leg raise delivery with a clean arm circle from a 3/4's arm slot, repeats his mechanics well, arm worked better on the mound than in the field. Fastball topped out at 70 mph and was thrown for strikes. Best breaking balls were when he stayed on top for an 11/5 shape. Good student.
