Brayden Williams is a 2030 C/RHP/UT with a 5-8 170 lb. frame from Point Pleasant, NJ who attends Point Pleasant Borough. Medium, stronger looking frame with room to physically mature. Recorded a 7.90 second sixty. Right-handed pitcher that worked from an abbreviated windup with good lower half movements down the slope. Fastball worked in the low-70s throughout and peaked at 72 mph from a three-quarters arm slot. Developing command of the strike zone, flashed some feel to land 11-5 shaped breaking ball and did a nice job of turning over a slightly faded change up. Will continue to improve with proper mechanical refinements and additional velocity. Secondary catcher that received from both a traditional side-saddled stance and one-knee setup. Gained ground towards his target with some athleticism out of the crouch, worked into a shorter arm action and maintained his transfer line effectively. Delivered accurate throws with arm strength up to 69 mph during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a narrow, upright stance with a compact hand set with quiet moves into launch. Leveraged stroke with good lower half engagement and strength at impact. Repeats well and projects for additional power as he physically matures.
