2026 PG Canadian National Showcases Qualifier (Saturday)  
Ethan Reason is a 2027 LHP/1B with a 6-5 191 lb. frame from Stouffville, ON who attends Stouffville. Long and tall high waisted build with huge physical projection remaining. Works from a full wind up with a belt high leg raise, up tempo mechanics with a fast arm, repeats well, 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 88 mph early and settled into the mid-80's with lots of life through the zone that missed barrels. Has good feel for a slurvy slider and can manipulate the shape and velocity, tends to shorten his arm stroke on his breaking ball. Split finger change has good arm speed and deception with some tumble at the plate. Has a ceiling if he can continue to get stronger. Named to the PG Canadian National Showcases Qualifier (Saturday) Top Prospect List.
