Kayden Ruiz is a 2029 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-0 168 lb. frame from Dacula, GA who attends Dacula. Lean medium build with plenty of room for physical growth and strength. Ran a 7.80 60-yard dash. Infield, sat back on the grounders some, developing backhand, fundamental and deliberate actions to the baseball, funnels well, can improve moving forward, solid accurate throws across the diamond. Right-handed pitcher, full wind with a sidestep and overhand pump, leg lift to chest with sink in the back leg, medium depth arm circle to three-quarters slot, open lander and gates the front hip some, typical life to the four seam in the upper 70's, developing spin in the mid 60's, occasional run on the heater. Right-handed hitter, even base, upright in the box with hands off the shoulder, low tension swing that projects well, hands looks good with solid bat speed for the class, good traits here. Solid offensive upside with plenty of room for strength and will improve in the field as well. Good student. Named to the Perfect Game Fall Southeast Showcase Top Prospect List.
