Right handed hitter, sets up in an open base with a high hand load, big hanging leg raise timer that can leave him mistimed, looking to pull the ball, has strength off the barrel when everything comes together but will have to make adjustments to simplify his swing. 5.93 runner in the forty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up one knee down, step by step actions out of his crouch, two-piece actions, longer transfers, made one-hop accurate throws. Also worked out at first base. Took a turn on the mound, works from an abbreviated wind up with a low 3/4's arm slot, repeated his mechanics well and threw strikes. Fastball sat in the mid-70's and topped out at 77 mph with some cutting action at times. Also threw a soft sweeping slider with some horizontal depth.
