2025 PG 14U Coastal All-State Games (Invite Only)
Vaden Liles is a 2029 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Victoria, VA who attends Central of Lunenburg. Slender young athletic build with some present strength and more to come. Right handed hitter, starts with a medium base with. even feet. Takes a direct path to the ball and swing is short. Bat speed through the zone is advanced and the ball jumps off the barrel well. Consistent results during the round and produced firm line drives to the pull side and middle of the field. 7.30 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, moved well and showed some athleticism, soft hands at the ball, had some arm strength for his age. Also worked out in the outfield, has some feel for his footwork through the ball, fields it cleanly out front, has a long and loose arm action, pronates over it out front, makes accurate soft throws. Can see him developing at either position. Also pitched and begins delivery with a leg lift to waist level. Moves efficiently down the slope and arm is longer through the back with a clean release. Fastball topped at 72 mph and featured occasional cutting action. Paired the heater with a curveball that showed 11-5 shape to it. Named to the 14U Coastal All-State Games Top Prospect List.
