Mikas Nicklin is a 2026 RHP with a 6-5 210 lb. frame from Wilmette, IL who attends Loyola Academy. A bigger frame with a higher-set waist, and long levers throughout. Tons of room to keep filling out the frame moving forward. Room to keep adding strength as well. Primary right-handed pitcher who worked from the wind-up with a sidestep into his leg lift at the belt, pushing down the slope and getting some drive off the back leg. He had a longer arm action with a loose three-quarters arm slot. He was able to create some whip through release, and the fastball had a good life, working 79-82 mph with a burst out of the hand. The pitch had some run to it, and he commanded the arm-side third of the zone. He also showed a slider with a good 10-4 shape and depth, being able to get whiffs with the pitch. He also missed some bats with the fastball up against right-handed hitters. Quality outing on the mound from the right-hander. Good student.
