Antonio José Gonzalez is a 2026 RHP with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Estado Miranda, MI. Well proportioned athletic build with good present strength. Works from the stretch from the first base side of the rubber, coiled leg raise start, gets into his hips and lower half well, deep arm action in back, over the top arm slot coming through, creates plane to the plate, has energy and recoil at release. Fastball was in the upper 80's with angle. Slider was his best pitch with some power and good shape and depth, change up was straight and still developing. Reliever profile at present until he can develop more consistency in his delivery and release but has a good arm. Good student.
