Griffin Wetzel is a 2028 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Lapeer, MI who attends Imlay City. Recorded a 7.54 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher with an athletic and projectable frame.The fastball is lively and topped at 86 mph from a short arm stroke while creating good extension out front. Heater features arm side to it and spun a slider as the primary secondary. Has early feel for the pitch and it projects well moving forward. Secondary first baseman and fielded his position well with solid fundamentals. Also worked out in the infield and the glove plays to go along with the arm strength. Right-handed hitter and starts from a narrow and upright stance. Gets the swing going with a hanging leg lift and worked to lift the ball in the air. Flashed some good strength coming off the barrel when staying through. Named to the 2025 National Underclass Showcase- Main Event Top Prospect List. Great student.
