2025 Cedar Rapids Red Organizational Scouting Combine
On the mound, Tenley is a right-handed pitcher who clocks in the mid-50's. She throws a fastball, roll drop, drop-curve, and a circle change. Tenley could greatly benefit from some mechanics work on her arm circle and getting into more of an attack posture off the mound. Right now, she tends to push the ball to the plate rather than utilizing a true snap. Her drop-curve seemed effective, staying low in the zone well. Her circle change-up was clocked at around 44mph.
Defensively, Tenley Rosekrans showed developing groundball skills, displaying a strong arm without utilizing much lower half movement. As she continues to connect her upper and lower half, her strength and balance will continue to grow.
Offensively, Rosekrans is a right-handed hitter who has an athletic stance. She generates good pop to the pull side and has quick hands and the ability to turn on the inside pitch. As she continues to work on going with the outside pitch, her offensive effectiveness will continue to grow. She has some solid tools and has a high upside.
