Cole Pelaggi is a 2027 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Durham, NH who attends Oyster River. Solid athletic build with some present strength. Works from the stretch with a closed off start, high leg raise start, lots of moving parts in his delivery, gets down the mound well to an extended 3/4's arm slot. Fastball was in the mid-70's and topped out at 78 mph with some short sinking action. Sold his change up well with good arm speed and release and some fading life. Tends to slow his arm on his curveball. 5.30 runner in the forty. Secondary first baseman on defense, plays low to the ball and fields it cleanly, moves well to the ball. Left handed hitter, sets up in a high hand load with a big drop into his swing, exaggerated high leg raise timer, difficult swing mechanics to time up, short inside swing path with mostly opposite field contact. Good student.
