2011 Spring Top Prospect Showcase
Anthony Gagliardi is a 2011 OF/RHP with a 6-4 185 lb. frame from Cedar Rapids, IA who attends Prairie HS. Long slender athletic build, plenty of room to add strength. Spread no stride hitting approach, low hand position, stays pretty short to the ball, some lift in swing, good power potential, stays back well. 6.85 runner, sound outfield fundamentals, good footwork, quick release, throws carry well. Also pitches, on line leg raise delivery, high 3/4's slot, big downer curveball, fastball to 83 mph with occasional cut, was 84-86 the previous week. Projects well physically with more strength. Good student, signed with Southeastern CC.
