Jameson Manebo is a 2028 LHP/OF with a 5-10 147 lb. frame from Mississauga, ON who attends Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Lean high-waisted young athletic build. Works from a full wind up with good lower half drive down the mound, short arm takeaway in back to a 3/4's arm slot through release, repeats his mechanics well and has good feel for his mechanics. Fastball was in the low 70's and topped out at 74 mph, maintained his velocity well and lived in the strike zone. Slider showed some two-plane shape with occasional depth and was sequenced well with his fastball. Also flashed a firm change up. Has good feel for pitching, just needs to get stronger. Worked out in the outfield and showed more arm strength there, attacks the ball well and accelerates into release with a balanced crow hop, promising round for his development as a pitcher. Left handed hitter, sets up in a balanced bent knee stance with good lower half turn, creates separation and rotates well, swings hard but has a well sequenced swing that could develop with more strength. Graded out higher as a position player at this event than as a pitcher. Excellent student.
