Messiah Muhammad is a 2030 OF/RHP with a 6-3 193 lb. frame from Chicago, IL. Extra-large frame with square shoulders and long limbs, present strength throughout frame. Ran a 7.94 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, young actions on the approach to the ball, gets low receiving the ball, works into a shorter arm action through the backside, deliberate tempo to actions to get behind the ball, arm strength and carry will continue to develop on throws. Also pitched, worked exclusively out of the stretch, belt high leg lift and gets tall on backside. Similar short arm action working to a high three-quarters release. Fastball topped out at 65 mph and lived low-60s and mixed a curveball up to 54 mph, short shape and will continue to refine overall pitch. Right-handed hitter, begins with a square stance in the box, upper body dominant swing. Shorter swing path and handsy swing, can unlock more strength with additional lower half implemented. Showed comfort working to the middle of the field, can go the other way as well, ball comes off well when squared.
