Andrew Laclede is a 2029 RHP/2B/3B with a 5-7 155 lb. frame from Alexandria, VA. On the mound, he works exclusively from the stretch with a controlled, repeatable delivery. He throws from a high three-quarter slot and does a great job repeating his mechanics. He fills up the zone and shows confidence attacking hitters. The fastball has occasional arm-side run, and he mixes in a curveball with defined shape along with a split-change that gives him a different look. He can blend his pitches and keep hitters off balance. Defensively, he provides infield versatility and continues to gain experience with his actions and footwork. At the plate, he is a right-handed hitter with an open stance and shows flashes of barrel feel. As he continues to mature physically and refine his timing, there is room for added consistency and strength at contact.
