Isaac Kozal is a 2026 LHP/1B with a 6-1 240 lb. frame from Glen Ellyn, IL who attends Glenbard West. Big, physical build with plenty of present strength. 8.36 runner in the sixty. Left-handed hitter with a slightly open setup and a compact move to the ball. Shows strength at contact with the ability to impact the baseball out front and drive it with carry, producing some hard contact to the back of the cage in BP. Can get rotational at times with a slight uphill path and will cut off the finish, so continuing to stay through the ball and control the barrel will be key. At first base, profiles as a corner defender. On the mound, works exclusively from the stretch with a compact arm action and a 3/4 slot, showing drop-and-drive mechanics and some angle through the zone. Fastball sat 74-76 with some ride and life, getting on hitters with strikes early. Slider sat 69 with slurvy shape and depth, and the changeup at 68 showed arm-side fade and depth while staying in the zone. Good student.
