Steven Grossman is a 2028 C/1B with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Orland Park, IL who attends Carl Sandburg. Strong and physical build. Ran a 7.97 60-yard dash. Worked at first base with a two-hand gather and steady actions around the bag. Feet work under control and feeds were clean, 71 mph arm strength with carry on throws across. Behind the plate, squared setup with on-line footwork and a shorter arm action, posted a 2.06 pop time with 69 mph arm strength. Right-handed hitter with an even base and a deep rotational load, showed the ability to lift the ball and drive it when on time, stayed compact through contact and got the barrel out front with a couple solid swings. Excellent student.
