Brody Stevenson is a 2028 1B/RHP with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Pendleton, IN who attends Pendleton Heights. Big and strong young build. Right handed hitter, sets up in a straight stance with a simple load and timer, line drive swing plane with solid pull side line drive impact when he gets the barrel on time, projectable hitting tools. 5.53 runner in the forty. Primary first on defense, waits back on the ball, step by step actions, clean pivots on his throws and fed the second baseman comfortably, accurate throws with good arm strength for the position. Also took a turn on the mound, works from a high leg raise delivery with a shorter arm action and high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball sat in the upper 70's and topped out at 80 mph with some cutting action. Curveball was a good pitch and created some swing/miss with 11/5 shape and some biting action. Good student.
