Easton Kitura is a 2026 OF/1B with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Vauxhall, AB who attends Vauxhall Academy of Baseball. Lean and athletic build with lots of physical projectability remaining. Left-handed hitter, with an even base and balanced setup. Simple trigger with a rhythmic operation in the box overall. Leveraged stroke with some feel to lift the ball to all fields. Strong through it with a good feel to work pull-side. Projectable operation in the batter's box with an optimal path, with good bat-to-ball skills. Hit well in-game with several hits, producing good line-drive contact. Worked out in the outfield, fielding it out in front with accuracy around the bag. Throws come out well. Moves low ot the ground and fields it with a smooth gather, working into it. Throws were at 86 mph with one-hop accuracy around the bag. Good round of throws from the outfield. Also worked out on the infield, moving low to the ground, with confident hands, and some feel for the glovework. Snatchy hands with a three-quarters slot across the infield. Compact release, comes out well. Made all of the plays on the dirt. Good student. Verbal commitment to Miami (FL).
