Stephen Verdolini is a 2028 RHP/IF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Doylestown, PA. Lean and long young build with lots of time and room to get stronger. Recorded a 7.19 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary right-handed pitcher that worked from a side step delivery with leg raise delivery to the belt, good lower half engagement down the slope and a quick arm. Fastball peaked at 85 mph in this look from a high three-quarters arm slot, maintained the low-80s throughout with life through the zone. Showed ability to command both sides of the plate, while expanding to the top of the zone when ahead in the count. Slider showed sweep and good later bite when thrown with conviction, will continue to improve with additional velocity and refinement. Secondary infielder with a developing defensive skill set. Showed some lateral range with deliberate glove work and exchange process. Delivered fairly accurate throws up to 80 mph across the diamond during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from an upright, even base with a tight, high hand set and short stride out to launch. Whole field approach with quickness to his hands and present bat speed. Flashed some power to left centerfield, with budding impact potential. Will continue to improve with additional swing refinements and additional strength. Good student.
