Finn Kouplen is a 2028 RHP/SS/OF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Broken Arrow, OK who attends Metro Christian Academy. Bigger athletic build with some present strength and plenty more to come. Works from a full wind up from the first base side of the rubber, belt high leg raise into a shorter arm path and low 3/4's arm slot, moves well down the mound, arm is loose and fast. Fastball topped out at 84 mph with short running life and was thrown for strikes. Curveball was a good pitch with tight spin and late 11/5 biting action. Also flashed a developing change up. Good bet to keep improving in all areas on the mound. 7.08 runner in the sixty. Worked out both in the infield and outfield on defense and showed his arm strength well at both positions, projects best in the outfield, has good footwork through the ball and a quick release on the grass. Right handed hitter, sets up in a straight stance with a strong move to his front side, gets the barrel out front well and repeated his timing and mechanics, line drive swing plane with middle of the field contact. Excellent student. Named to the PG High School All-State Select Championship Top Prospect List.
