Daniel Tovar is a 2026 RHP with a 6-3 196 lb. frame from St.Cloud, FL who attends St. Cloud. Tall and strong athletic build with plenty of physical projection remaining. Works from a short side step delivery with a high leg raise at his balance point and slight hip turn, can get down the mound further and has some recoil at release, arm is long and loose from a 3/4's arm slot. Fastball sat in the low 80's with some running life and was around the strike zone. Also threw a firm change up that could have been a two-seamer. Did not observe a breaking ball. More velocity there with lower half adjustments in his delivery.
