2026 PG Canadian National Showcases Qualifier (Saturday)  
Chase Magee is a 2030 C/RHP/1B with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Pickering, ON who attends Bill Crothers. Bigger young athletic build with lots of strength potential as he gets older. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread and open stance with a tight hand load, has a long swing with some strength when he stays connected, lots of projection with his size and power potential. Primary catcher on defense, sets up side saddle, stands up to throw and will learn his footwork in gaining ground into his throws, throws from a lower arm slot and works uphill into his throws with developing arm strength. Also pitched and showed his raw arm strength for his age well as a pitcher. Works from the stretch with a hard front side pull down and 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 75 mph to go with a slurvy breaking ball. Good student.
