Josias Ferrett is a 2027 1B/LHP/OF with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Gaylord, MI who attends Gaylord High School/Voc. Bldg. Bigger athletic build with lots of strength potential. Primary first baseman who has two-way potential on the mound. Left handed hitter, sets up in a spread and balanced stance with a short stride into contact, has a long and loose swing with a pull side approach, still developing his timing but has some raw bat speed and power potential. 7.21 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, has good fundamental actions and athleticism, makes accurate throws with good arm strength, can get lower fielding the ball. Showed some potential on the mound, has a clean delivery from a medium length arm action and mid 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 84 mph with more there. Curveball had good spin and 1/7 shape and was thrown for strikes, also turned over a mid-70's change up well. Good student. Named to the PG Michigan Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
