Kamron Gardner -- Gardner is a tall freshman outfielder from Florida, lean in the upper half with more developed hips and thighs. He’s very young even for a freshman and could grow into an imposing physical specimen. Gardner’s big tool looks like it could be his power potential. He made very solid contact in batting practice with excellent bat speed for his age. Gardner gets very good extension out front in his swing and also has a bit of back side collapse, the combination giving him a great recipe for lofting the ball. Without the back side collapse, he'll be even better. After throwing 80 mph from the outfield, Gardner also threw 2 innings from the mound, showing a 74 mph fastball from a low ¾’ arm slot. Kamron is a good student. This is definitely a freshman to watch.
