Nick Kanavas is a 2013 MIF/RHP with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Brookfield, WI who attends Brookfield East HS. Medium athletic build with room to fill out. Moves well on the infield with quick feet, strength in actions as well. Hands are good with smoothness. Very good arm strength across the infield, throws have carry. Accuracy will need to improve. Quiet at the plate with very little pre-swing movement. Strong player with good bat speed on an uppercut swing. Looks to pull the ball. Made consistent hard line drive contact to the pull side. Short arm action on the mound. Effort in delivery, fastball comes out of hand well. Keeps hitters off balance, works in and out. Very good student. Named to Top Prospect Team.
