Frank Grandinette is a 2012 RHP/3B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Boone HS. Medium athletic build, very good present strength. Simple delivery mechanics, repeats well, easy arm action, could use strong lower half more to generate power. Fastball to 88 mph, mostly straight, big breaking slurve type breaking ball best pitch, have seen it with more power and truer slider break in the past. Rare change up. Throws strikes with all pitches and has pitchability. Right handed hitter, open upright stance, opens early, hits off a hard front side, power approach, looking to lift and pull, has bat speed and gap power, handles the barrel well, good balance and smooth swing.
