Robert DeLuca is a 2011 C/P/3B with a 5'11'', 175 lb. frame from Clemmons, NC who attends Forsyth Country Day School. Medium build, thicker lower 1/2. Open stance, good balance, confident hitting approach, aggressive to the ball, some lift/extension, long swing but gets the barrell to the ball. Developing receiving skills, low release on throws, best pop time 2.09. Also pitched, FB to 77 mph, drop and drive approach, low effort release. Excellent student.
