Ryan Perez is a 2012 BHP/1B, 3B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Hampshire, IL who attends Westminster Christian. Perez has a medium athletic build. Throws with both hands and is equally effective from both sides. Fastball was 90-91 with both hands. Delivery from the left side is clean and repeatable, has slight pause and back turn to plate, curveball is late with 1/7 shape. Arm worked really well. From the Right side, similar delivery, more slider action on off speed. Kept arm speed up on all pitches and had good feel for change up. Threw strikes with both hands. Interesting prospect as he shows tools as a RHP and a LHP. Named to Top Prospect Team
