Justin Anderson is a 2011 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends St Pius X HS. Lean projectable athletic build. Quality two way prospect. Loose quick arm, athletic delivery, throws downhill well, some effort at release. Steady 86-88 mph fastball, heavy at the plate with some sink/run, CB best off speed pitch, tight spin with 12/6 downer bite at times, slider has proper shape/rotation. 7.41 runner, smooth outfield actions, outstanding arm strength, throws easy. Left handed hitter, smooth quick swing, stays short to the ball, aggressive approach, ball jumps hard on contact, line drive swing plane, good leverage at contact, projects as a hitter with more strength. Could develop on either side of the ball. Good student.
