Morgan Bunting is a 2012 1B/RHP with a 6-4 180 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends Woodward Academy. Tall athletic build, lots of room to fill in. Open stance hitting, stays back and balanced well, very quick hands, hits thru the ball, hard pull contact, can get the barrel to the inner half, ball jumps hard, drives the ball, will learn to extend/lift better with experience, top level hitting tools. 6.95 runner, strong throwing arm, quick actions at 1B, plenty of athleticism to play the outfield. Also pitched, low 80's fastball to 83 mph, whippy arm action, fair curveball spin, throws strikes. Compares to 2010 Marlins 1st round pick Christian Yelich. Good student. Named to the Top Prospect team.
