Austin Parrish is a 2013 RHP/OF with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Graysville, GA who attends Ringgold HS. Very nice athletic frame, good present strength. Standard hip turn delivery, low effort, stays balanced, 3/4's arm slot. Fastball to 83 mph, saw 84-87 frequently during the summer, fastball has some arm side run, can spot fastball to both sides of the plate. Short breaking slurve type curveball, can improve depth and consistency, some developing feel for a change up, has an idea how to pitch. Has hitting tools, nice loose swing from the right side, has bat speed, pull approach, line drive plane, ball jumps hard off the barrel, good looking swing with power potential. 7.40 runner, sound outfield actions, good footwork, accurate throws. Solid all around player. Good student.
