Dane Steinhagen is a 2012 3B/MIF, OF with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Beaumont, TX who attends Monsignor Kelly HS. Well proportioned athletic, some strength, projects. Right handed hitter, sound balanced approach, short and quick to the ball, keeps his hands above the ball, lets the ball get deep, quick line drive stroke, good bat speed, squares it up, hard contact, all fields, polished hitting skills. Athletic actions both in infield and outfield, tools to play either or both at the next level. Fields through the ball in the infield, low flexible release, quick exchange, good hands, throws carry well. Accurate on line throws in the outfield, good to the ball, 7.12 runner. Nice all around athlete who will keep getting better. Good student.
