Shane McKinley is a 2012 LHP/OF with a 5-8 180 lb. frame from Slidell, LA who attends Northshore. Slim build with room to fill. Compact arm action from 3/4. Solid arm speed, maintained velocity. Fastball showed arm side run. Curveball showed tight two-plane break. Good upside on mound. Showed arm strength with solid follow-thru and good carry from OF. Aggressive at the plate with a line-drive pull approach. Has strength and showed the ability to hit to the opposite field. Good student.
