Rene Rivera is a 2013 MIF with a 5-5 125 lb. frame from McGregor, TX who attends Reicher Catholic HS. Smaller build, minimal present strength. Soft hands defensively, quick first step, shows range, good footwork, good balance, arm strength still developing. Open stance, short contact swing, line drive plane, gets the barrel to the ball, good baserunning instincts, 7.35 runner. Good student.
