2011 Spring Top Prospect Showcase
Justin Hofland is a 2011 RHP with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Cedar Rapids, IA who attends Prairie HS. Nice athletic build, some present strength. Cross body delivery, stiff front side, over the top release point, deep arm circle, doesn't get over front side consistently, tends to miss up in zone. Fastball to 81 mph, nice cutting action at times. Mid 70's slider showed good depth at times, some sharpness. Have seen up to 85-86 mph in the past with cleaner mechanics
