Erik Tycksen is a 2010 OF/P with a 6'2'', 180 lb. frame from Wheat Ridge, CO who attends Golden HS. Long slender build, some wiry strength. Switch-hitter, spread no stride approach, simple swing mechanics, line drive swing, similar approach/bat speed both sides, chokes up, looks to make solid contact. Good outfield actions, good to the ball, 7.28 runner. Also pitched, extended arm action, upright delivery, 3/4's release, heavy upper 70's fastball, slow curveball for offspeed. Good student.
