Brad Torres is a 2012 RHP with a 6-8 220 lb. frame from Sebring, FL who attends Avon Park HS. Extra large broad shouldered frame, long arms, room to get stronger. Tall delivery, stays over the rubber well, works downhill, tends to lean off on release, high 3/4's arm slot. Consistent mid 80's fastball, topped at 87 mph, gets good arm side run when directional to the plate, will cut his fastball when glove side. Low 70's curveball, tends to get on side for sweeping effect.. Around the plate with both pitches but tends to pitch to the middle. Inconsistent now but best days are ahead of him. Good student.
