Ian Rodriguez is a 2013 LHP/1B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Miami Springs, FL who attends Miami Springs HS. Strong well develop build for age, long legs. On line delivery, high 3/4's release point, whippy loose arm action. Mid 70's fastball, very good running action, likes to challenge inside, good arm action/arm speed on change up, slows on soft spinning curveball, has an idea how to pitch, should continue to improve. Spread stance hitting, rotational swing, looks to pull, shows some power, can improve balance/consistency. Good student.
