Schwartz is an "04" 3B/RHP from Ontario. At 6'4/202 he has that MLB look about him and plenty to project. He is a primary 3B who also pitches very well. At third he shows an above average MLB arm and some very nice actions. He runs fairly well for a big guy and he can hit. He looked very good against some of the best pitchers in the nation in Wareham. He has big time power potential and profiles very well at 3B. On the mound he's equally, if not more, interesting. In Wareham he threw 89 mph with life and showed he's not afraid to go inside. Looked like he threw a cutter around 86 mph. Showed breaking ball ability around 71 mph. Even threw a pretty good change up. At 6'4 he's got to be considered a pitching prospect for the draft. Lots of talent here and both ways.
