Will Gayler is a 2011 C/3B with a 5'10'', 180 lb. frame from Newborn, GA who attends Eastside HS. Medium build with strength, broad shoulders. Sets up well behind the plate, good catching tools, hands and feet work, repeats mechanics and makes accurate throws. Capable infielder, makes solid plays, anticipates well off the bat. Closed stance at plate, uses hand strength to get bat through the zone, hands work quick, rotational hitter, solid contact to all fields, uses opposite field well, shows good plate coverage.
