Preston Brown is a 2011 RHP/OF with a 6'1'', 190 lb. frame from Germantown, TN who attends St. George's HS. Athletic build, good present strength. Simple leg raise delivery, very repeatable and directional, high 3/4's release, very fluid, resembles Greg Maddox in delivery with longer arm stroke, definite plus command potential. FB to 85 mph, mostly 81-83 mph, good arm side run, could spot FB inside more often with command ability. Big sweeping slurve type slider, good depth, has nice sink on change up with arm speed. Should keep improving on the mound. Good balanced wide hitting approach, short to the ball, solid mid-field contact, consistent line drive contact. Outstanding student.
