Tyler Helphenstine is a 2012 OF/LHP with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Punta Gorda, FL who attends IMG Academies. Athletic build with room to fill out. Short arm action on throws from OF. Ball had carry. Actions were strong along with good, accurate throws. At the plate, short swing that found the ball with easy. Gets good extension and made solid contact to all fields. Has potential at the plate. Good student.
