Handsome Monica is a 2014 C/3B/OF with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from Mandeville, LA who attends St. Paul's HS. Large frame, strong physical build. Big raw power at the plate, quiet hitting approach, direct hand path with good extension through the baseball. Aggressive hitter, strong at contact, loft in swing. Plus arm strength, plus carry on throws, accurate throws in catcher workout where he posted a good 1.91 pop time. Sits low while receiving, high energy defender behind the plate. Very good student. Verbal commitment to Arizona.
