Zach Reid is a 2014 LHP/1B with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Montgomery, AL who attends Trinity Presbyterian HS. Medium athletic build, young look. Directional delivery, clean arm circle, 3/4's extended release, will drop down side arm at times with same velocity and pitches. Consistent fastball velocity, topped out at 79 mph, good life low in the zone. Curveball has tight spin and some bite, still developing command/feel for it. Nice change up with arm speed and some sink. Side arm gives different look and stays low in the zone. Has a good feel for pitching and should keep improving. Right handed hitter, upright stance, busy feet, long loose swing, mid field line drive contact. Good student.
