Devin Pickett is a 2012 3B/SS with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Flossmoor, IL who attends Marian Catholic HS. Well proportioned athletic body, room to get stronger. 6.88 runner, very good infield actions, quick hands, soft and sure at the ball, quick release with some carry, moves well to his lift, very solid third base tools and actions. Right handed hitter, spread stance, no stride, has hand speed and strength, line drive plane, ball comes off the barrel hard, approach creates length at present. Good student, verbal commitment to Iowa.
